Carlo Dell’Aringa is Professor of Economics at “Cattolica” University of Milan since 1981. After obtaining the D.Phil. in Economics (1970) at Linacre College, Oxford, he has been member of several scientific committees at national and international institutions like ISTAT, Italian Ministry of Labor, EUROSTAT and OECD. He has been President of the Italian Association of Labour Economists (AIEL) and member of the advisory board of the European Association of Labour Economists (EALE). He is member of the editorial board of the journals Labour and Rivista Internazionale di Scienze Sociali.
