Francesco Sobbrio

Biography

Francesco Sobbrio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at LUISS “G. Carli” University in Rome.  Prior to joining LUISS, he was an Assistant Professor at Catholic University of Milan (2013-2015), a Jean-Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (2012-2013) and an Assistant Professor at IMT Lucca (2008-2012). Francesco holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California. He also obtained a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BSc summa cum laude in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.

Francesco’s main areas of interest are Political Economics, Public Economics and the Economics of Media.
